Backfill SEO/Scent Guide

This tool scans existing Shopify products and generates the same SEO and FragnScents Scent Guide fields used for new imports.

Start with 2 or 5 products first. This version slows down and retries automatically if Shopify rate-limits the app. It includes a 75-product option for faster runs, while still slowing down and retrying automatically if Shopify rate-limits the app. If your server times out on 75, switch back to 50.

How many existing products should be processed? Delay between products Update SEO title/meta/handle? Generate FragnScents Scent Guide? Skip products that already have Scent Guide data?

Handles are only changed when they look like random supplier/SKU codes. Existing readable handles are left alone. When skip is enabled, the app scans ahead until it finds products without Scent Guide fields.

New in v11.23: Scent Guide now uses a weighted rule engine. Top notes count 45%, heart notes 40%, and base notes 15%, so warm base notes add depth without incorrectly turning bright fruity/floral fragrances into fall/winter scents.

Note: For full catalog backfill, use 75 only if it finishes reliably on your Hostinger server. If it times out, use 50; the app continues from the last saved position.

Rebuild Existing Scent Guides

This override is for rebuilding scent profile/type data after rule changes. It overwrites existing Scent Guide fields using the weighted rule engine. Use Reset Backfill Position first to start at the beginning of the catalog.
